About the Role
We are looking for a driven indivdual to join our busy Marketing team as Web Content Manager. Key responsibilities include:

To Maintain and manage all content both on and related to the HomeServe family of internet site sites.
Strengthen HomeServe branding via differentiated Tone of voice and added value content
Enhance SEO effectiveness.
Contribute to the sales performance of the internet channel by way of enhancing sales orientated content and creative positioning, including on site content, display advertising and search.
Own the ICC (Internal Copy Clearance) audit and approval process of online content to FSA standards.
Strategically contribute to best practise web user experience and branding through improvement recommendations and product enhancement copy.
Liaise with key business stakeholders including marketing, product, corporate and compliance to detail and implement content.
Develop the HomeServe Online writing Style Guide.
Scope and support the implementation of a content management system to improve and support enhanced internet marketing.

Key Accountabilities

Lead the Content Strategy: create and implement best practise Editorial Process, Style/Tone Guide, Taxonomy, Customer Experience and crosslinking opportunities.
Support implementation of a best practise Content Management System in collaboration with IT
Manage all content changes across HomeServe family of web sites
Creative copywriting – display, search, campaigns and content
Support new and modified product launches
Improve SEO performance – manage external SEO agency; link baiting; implement effective search optimisation strategies and keywords into online content
Lead content strategy for HomeServe’s advice articles.
Manage content signoff processes.

Candidate Requirements

About the Person

Proven track record as an online Content Manager.
Previous experience producing a broad range of online content including display and search advertising, product promotions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in retail sales promotional environments.
Strong creative and advertising writing skills
Experienced at working in a regulated environment and understanding of the subsequent impact on content.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Ability to own, address and resolve content problems.
Strong organisational skills in order to effectively schedule diverse workloads. .
Strong attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of best practise online content styles and the ability to sell them to stakeholders.
